Surviving these days as a Web Architect for a local advertising agency. Hailing out of the very small town of Bradner, Ohio is in sharp contrast to Los Angeles where he lived for 3 years as an Art Director, traveling photographer, and filmer.
At age 12 Ryan got excited by the neighbors new “toy” and saved up his birthday money so that he could join them and get his own “pro board”. 18 years later, his love for skateboarding has only grown stronger with each year. Despite injuries and set backs, Ryan has no plans to give it up for age, work load, or perceived life paths. “I may not get to skate as much as I used to, but I will be forced to stop, thats for sure.”
And just like skateboarding, Ryan plans to continue to create art, for love, expression, and to feed his soul. Ryan feels very fortunate to have skateboarding and art in his life. “Its a way of life, an approach, I know there are other ways out there, but not for me.”
